Volunteer At UMC
Since its establishment, one of the primary goals of UMC Free Clinic is to give back to the community in every way possible which includes providing volunteer and shadowing opportunities for those who would like to follow medical or administrative career paths.
We currently have Medical Residents, Physician Assistant students, Nurse practitioner students, from NOVA, Keiser, Barry and other schools doing rotations to learn how to best serve low income uninsured patients in the most effective and efficient way.
Volunteering at the Community Clinic is a great way to give back to your community and help those in need. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities and allow students to learn and grow while making a difference. Our volunteer program is a great way for medical students to gain practical experience to help them get into residency and fellowship programs. We also welcome high school students to volunteer for service hours and provide them with a valuable learning experience. Join us today and make a difference!
